Terms and Conditions

Last updated: August 2026

These terms govern the use of Tesify, an AI academic writing assistant. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them.

1. The service

Tesify helps students structure, draft, cite and review academic work. The tool supports the student’s work: authorship of and responsibility for the final content remain theirs.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity carried out from your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use Tesify in accordance with the academic integrity rules of the relevant institution. See the Acceptable Use Policy.

4. Content ownership

The content a student creates belongs to that student. We grant a licence to use the software to produce academic work.

5. Institutional agreements

Where an institution licenses Tesify for its students, the commercial terms, service levels, data processing arrangements and deployment scope are governed by the separate written agreement concluded with that institution. Where that agreement conflicts with these terms, the institutional agreement prevails for users covered by it.

6. Payments and right of withdrawal

Individual free accounts do not require a card. Where an individual consumer purchases a paid plan, charges are as stated at the time of purchase, and consumers resident in the European Union have a 14-day right of withdrawal where applicable. This withdrawal right applies to consumers and not to institutions contracting in a professional capacity; institutional pricing and termination are set in the written agreement described above.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee specific academic results, and Tesify is not an artificial intelligence detection system. The final review of any submitted work remains the responsibility of its author and, where applicable, the assessing institution.
